Q&A with Nature

The following are some of the questions that clients have posed for members of Nature – and Nature’s responses. Please keep in mind that I offer two types of consultations: one devoted entirely to questions for Nature, and one specifically for animal communication wherein you may include a single extra question, free of charge, for Nature. The flow of answers sparking yet more questions invites an ongoing expansion of our understanding of reality! If you are ready to join in, please use this link for the Consultation Request Form.

Q: My house is in a pine forest. When it is windy, the trees bend and sway as if dancing in a graceful ballet. Are they aware of one another? In some sense do they communicate as herd animals do?

A: Oh, we love to dance in the wind! In such cosmic choreography, we dance both individually and as a group. We dance to the vibration, like that of your own music. The sky and earth approximate treble and bass. We see why you might think we communicate as herd animals do but, no, we do not see ourselves that way. Since our roots are thoroughly enmeshed, it is a physical impossibility to ever be separate. Literally, we are inextricably linked to one another. While we might be viewed as a single being underground, our unity there is not for the purpose of survival, as it is for herd animals. We enjoy duality and diversity: living in both earth and sky, together below and separate above, in parts dense and in parts open. We cherish our union as well as our individuality of expression. No two of us experience the vibrations identically.

Q: Is there such a thing as a consciousness of a lake? If so, does a lake have memory?

A: Yes. Each lake’s consciousness differs based upon its unique collection of experiences. We remember energies. Examples of such include: human visitors, animals, seasons, pollution, substances that have touched us, and exchanges we have had with Mother Earth. We even have memories of aircraft. These are provided to us by raindrops that join our bodies.

Q: Does my office recognize the different energies of the people who work here? Some of the space consistently feels uncomfortable to me. Or, is that just a reflection of my attitude about the person who usually occupies that space? My feeling is the same even if that individual is absent for several days.

A: Air is fluid and not constrained to a room. Additionally, walls of a room “breathe” in some of these energies and then share them with walls throughout the rest of the building. Wooden furniture within a room is most directly affected; it would consider itself to have a personal relationship with whomever uses it. Electronic components in an office, while not unaffected, have a massive energetic influence of their own. Paper files are more greatly impacted than the metal files which may house them. It stands to reason that a person’s energies/emotions will be most retained by composite porous objects that are touched directly. Your hands are tremendous emanators of your energies. Also, written words are powerful, whereas words spoken in the office environment are less localized.

Q: a) Does a pollywog know that it will become a frog?
b) Does a frog remember that it was a pollywog?

A: The answers to follow are generalities as, understandably, everyone is a unique individual.
a) If a particular pollywog had such an incarnation previously then, yes, there is a knowing of what’s to come. However, for first-timers, surprise is a vital element to the magic of metamorphosis and the delight in the anticipation of becoming.
b) There is recall primarily of bodily mechanics. Memories of fluidity/gliding are necessary to the transformed method of locomotion. They serve to keep the frog connected to the earth and horizontally motivated. In other words, they help to stabilize the frog’s jump. If you are asking if we have memory of specific experiences as pollywogs then, no, not so much. But then, how much recall do you have of your infancy? Just as trees enjoy their dualities, we are blessed with the duality of two lives in one!

Q: I live in California. Before an earthquake occurs, it sometimes seems that the behavior of my dogs changes. I am wondering if mountains, rivers, trees, e.g., know when they may be impacted by a quake.

A (mountains): As part of the being that you call Earth, we have full awareness of her/our experiences every “where.” We know that tension builds and releases. We flow with the changing energies and vibrations. We perceive an element of this question to be based in fear, in the belief in danger, and in the idea that forewarning is advantageous. We feel challenged to provide a satisfactory answer because we do not associate earthquake with hazard. Like all, we mutate and transform. It does not occur to us to resist or brace ourselves, for nothing is judged as disharmonious.

(rivers): An earthquake may add bounce to our flow. It may even lead to our caressing Earth in new ways. As the mountains described, this is a natural part of the ever-changing present. It is difficult for us to perceive any singularity or separation of an earthquake event.

(trees): At times of earthquake, we assist by pulling excess energies up through our trunks and releasing these energies skyward – to varying degrees at varying times.

(collectively): We are ONE. There is not the separation that you imagine.

Q: As I look out on the flower garden, I see rose blossoms in various stages – from tight little buds to old blossoms dropping their petals. Probably because I am a “senior citizen,” that got me to wondering if flower blossoms are conscious of moving through life stages.

A: Although the plant is aware of our stages, we blossoms are less so. A blossom’s life is more along the simple lines of “I am what I am” at this moment in time. How do we experience time? Our primary focus is on our relationship with insects. Our energy is more ethereal, less substantive, as an extension of a plant. We are the plant’s expression of love and joy. Our very essence is one of transmutation and transformation. We see ourselves as more energetic than physical and, as such, not existent in visible life stages. As a plant’s expression of love, we nourish life itself : from the radiant vibration of our beauty, to the life force sustenance for insects, to literally feeding this same essence to Mother Earth, to later reemerging in plant form. But we perceive this as sameness rather than distinct stages. While we do not find this simile satisfactory, we could be loosely likened to your hair, which is seen as a crown of beauty yet each strand is ultimately shed individually.

Q: Do animals/trees/rocks consider it desirable for humans to understand them? If so, to what extent? Why?

A (animals): Improved understanding would enhance our relations. We do not expect you to understand us in full, for different species have inherently unique perceptive capabilities, with correlating experiential tendencies. Nevertheless, we do look forward to the time when humanity will see our value, our equality, and recognize more of our gifts. This will bring greater harmony to All-ness.

(trees): Our desire is present, but to a lesser degree than that of the animal kingdom. We come here for different purposes and with different expectations. Our personal interactions are many, but more so with animals than with people. We consider our interest in this to be more casual because, as a generality, your dealings with us are more distant or impersonal. We would enjoy, however, a more conscious interchange of our energies. For your populace at large, this would occur as an attitudinal shift from afar. Many of us are sensitive to the point of exercising care in terms of who we invite to approach us more intimately. Perhaps as the overall energetic balance continues to improve, such caution will become less necessary.

(rocks): Oh, yes, this would be most welcome! Your energies impact us greatly as you walk upon the Earth. Our physical essences – yours and ours – share much in common. It is a fallacy to think we are distinct. You cannot know yourselves in isolation.
